Napco
mostly identifies mass-produced for export copies of vintage Hakata Dolls which
were handcrafted by only seven artisan studios in the Fukoaka District of Japan
from 1950-55. This doll was made by Urasaki, one of the original seven studios
Its labels mark it around 1954. By early 1956 six of the original studios were
out of business
