Vintage Pair of Black Bird Salt & Pepper from 1920’s
100 years old.! The stamp on the bottom has Japan in cursive. I did not attempt to clean them, and they are in great shape from a non-smoking home. They are made of porcelain. The presence of Japan in cursive on old porcelain generally indicates a piece that was produced after 1921 and before 1941, specifically for export to the United States. After this time period, exports were changed to say “Made in Japan”. I could not find any chips.
