In 1989, this hooded model was developed for expeditions, based on THE NORTH FACE's heritage model, the Denali Jacket.
The recycled microfleece material made from recycled plastic bottles is light, thick, and soft to the touch.
It effectively traps dead air, keeping the inside of the garment at a comfortable temperature, and the drawcord at the hem can be tightened to further increase airtightness.
Designed for use as an outer layer, the hood and shoulders are filled with PrimaLoft® to prevent body heat from escaping from the head and neck.
